The Steel Sizzlin' BBQ Cook Off is a non-sanctioned competition that welcomes BBQ teams to compete in the main categories of brisket, chicken, and pork spareribs. To keep things fresh and exciting, we offer a variety of jackpot categories that change from year to year, often including beans, an open category, kids' hamburgers, steaks, margaritas, salsa, and more.
The Steel Sizzlin’ weekend is typically in May or first part of June at the Leon County Expo Center in Buffalo, TX.
